I've always liked this song a lot, as it has a very well written melody-line and a nice story about an astronaut writing in his diary. One should take into account that this song was written in 1971, only two years after the first man landed on the moon. The world was still in the middle of the space-age and dreaming of going to Mars.

It's a Mumford & Sons cover, but with our interpretation. Only a piano and two singers :)
Just a funky jam, all by myself on piano, synth, organ, bass and drums (not at the same time... obviously)

Even though I like to play all sorts of music, this is the kind of music I like most of all to play and record, It's fun and a bit more challenging than lots of mainstream music, which makes it very satisfying when it all melts together in a tight and balanced way. :)

This is an old (test) recording of my dad and me, made in 2015 with a portable Tascam recorder, in his living room.
My dad being a big fan of Simon and Garfunkel, this really is "our song ♥". A song that we've been singing together since my childhood. It's not the best quality recording, but I guess that just makes it more genuine ;-)
